La ruta del olivo de Galilea
A journey through the rolling hills and olive groves of Lower Galilee.
The road less traveled
The Lower Galilee is a patchwork of olive groves, rolling hills, and traditional villages. The drive from Nazareth to the Sea of Galilee takes you through landscapes that have inspired pilgrims, poets, and farmers for millennia.

Along the way, small villages offer glimpses of a way of life that has all but disappeared from the modern world.
The Galilee doesn't reveal itself to those who rush. Slow down, and the land begins to speak.
Olive country
The olive tree is the symbol of the Galilee. Some trees here are centuries old, their gnarled trunks standing as witnesses to generations of harvests.
A taste of the land
Local cuisine is deeply connected to the seasons and the land:
- Spring — wild greens and fresh labneh
- Summer — tomatoes, cucumbers, and fresh bread
- Autumn — the olive harvest, when entire communities come together
